Review of Killing Them Softly (2012) by Michael N — 27 May 2013

This movie is very hard to get into for the average movie goer. I felt that the movie started very slowly and never picked up there which generally speaking is not a bad thing but based on what the trailer was showing I felt that this movie would be packed with great action scenes but there was only a few at best.

I don't mind a movie that has a lot more dialogue but even then I felt a bit lost as we were continuously jumping between characters and it only tied in together near the end. I was unable to watch this entire movie as I was to distracted and uninterested in finishing this movie.

I would say unless you are a movie die hard or enjoy slow and dialogue packed movies I would say skip this movie. I would assume that reading the book would be a much better approach. This is a movie that critics will love but the general public will find boring.
