A gritty, if not disturbing, performance by a somewhat comedic somewhat sadistic Michael McConaughey, coupled with a strong supporting task, turns an otherwise absurd plot into one of the most enjoyable films of 2013.
Just not for the faint of heart or lovers of chicken.
