Review of Kill Your Darlings (2013) by Ankur B — 17 Sep 2014
Daniel Radcliffe's spellbinding performance as the iconoclastic poet Allen Ginsberg is sharpened by the vivacious chemistry he shares with Dane DeHaan. While the final act of the film is the only real compelling portion of the story, the atmosphere of the Beat Generation is hard to resist.
Kill Your Darlings is a genuine portrayal of 1940s America, and deserves plaudits for casting the spotlight on homosexual literary pioneers.
