Review of Kill the Irishman (2011) by David M — 27 Jun 2011
The first honest-to-goodness goodness out of the Val filmography in quite a while. He's good, and almost steals some scenes, and shows if he'd cut his hair, he still looks like the Kilmer of old underneath it all.
The film is standard fare for the genre for the most part, but it is all around working class solid. Classy actors spice up the story, and make up for some telegraphed plot happenings and a few other shortcomings.
