Review of Kill Switch (2008) by Hunter D — 23 Nov 2008
A flipped kill switch is exactly what this movie needed before it even entered production. This movie is really, really bad, but in a good way at times. The plot makes no sense, the editor wrongfully thought he was the messianic son of David Fincher and Jean-Luc Godard, and Seagal lets his stunt doubles do most of the work in action scenes that are dragged out, incoherent, and laughably pointless at the end of the day.
The hilariously misguided directorial approach to this movie really is so bad that combined with the acting talents of Steven Seagal, it really does transcend from bad to good at times, but that doesn't excuse it for being what it is: utter garbage.
