Review of Kill Switch (2008) by Albert N — 01 Jun 2009

I used to be fan of Steven Seagal and I still enjoy watching some of his older stuff but, this movie was really bad. You could tell Seagal has really let himself go because he looked really overweight but, I'm sure he could still kick some ***.

The camera work was really annoying because they would loop the action scenes so that you would see the same hit from different angles over and over. The fight scenes would have been better if the camera wasn't so close and you could really see what was happening but, I find that typical of most action films.

The dialog was also awful. I guess they were trying to be witty but, it just came across as stupid. Then there was the way Seagal talked throughout the entire movie, like he had some sort of weird fake southern accent.

However, there was a hint of likability in the movie, and I can't quite explain it. Maybe it was because I used to be a fan. Whatever it was, I gave the movie 1 star instead of 0.
