Review of Kill List (2011) by Joel M — 13 Feb 2012
Unnerving and nasty throughout, you wonder where this tale of hitmen working through a list of kills is heading. And then it goes all culty and Wicker Man-esque in the final act. Which is more reminiscent of 'Hot Fuzz' than being a satisfying ending.
Unsettling and memorable, but really unlikeable and, frankly, daft.
