Review of Kill List (2011) by Kevin K — 16 Nov 2012

Whilst Kill List holds your attention - and beware the squeamish, you'll need to avert your eyes occasionally - when the credits roll, you just might be left with that unpleasant 'wtf' feeling, in which you're not sure if the previous 95 minutes were a complete waste of time, or if in fact you've just bore witness to another film which will make more sense the second time around.

There are numerous questions left unanswered, and the soundtrack at times almost drowns out the dialogue, but for the most part, Kill List is a decent enough film - and it's probably better to wonder about a film afterwards, than forget about it altogether. And if it gets compared to The Wicker Man, then that's no bad thing either.. as long as it's not the Nicholas Cage remake...
