Review of Kill List (2011) by Kane T — 02 Jan 2013
(3 out of 5 Stars) A well-crafted horror movie... acting, tension, pacing were all incredible. But it felt like what promised to be true love was just lies and ended up they were just trying to get in your pants.
The mystery and all the hints that were thrown ended up feeling like nothing but cheap tricks given as a false promise of a real mystery, and that it was all come together. All the believability was gone and I was just left with, "What.
" (Not even meriting a question mark to that "what.") It was one of those endings that I predicted but threw it out because "that'd be a dumb cheap trick" And then they surprised me with said ending.
