Review of Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004) by Steven W — 03 Aug 2012
This second part has a problem. It felt like a masterpiece with something missing. Kill Bill was conceived as one movie. It was shot to be one movie. The splitting up the films was a great financial decision.
It was a disastrous creative idea. I am still waiting on my real cut of the films. This second part has nothing wrong with it. Everything I loved about the first is here. As a film fanatic I am saddened by the business side winning over the artistic.
