Review of Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004) by Steven H — 15 Nov 2012
A much slower, but much more involving movie than Volume 1. Uma Thurman is just as great as she was before, and we finally see Bill in this one. David Carradine is magnificent as Bill, he is a character that you can relate to and understand his motives.
There's still some fairly bloody violence, but there isn't nearly as much as 1. I consider this to be a good thing because it allows for more character development, which is something I really wanted to see.
There's also some unforgettable moments of dialogue, which were more enthralling than any amount of dismemberment and blood could be. My favorite Tarantino movie, a great conclusion to this saga.
