Review of Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004) by Yoann M — 04 Jan 2013
Way better than the first one as it goes more deeply into the origins of the Bride without taking too much time to tell. What I despised the most about the first movie was the overwhelming amount of too long action scenes, which this Volume 2 dropped off.
It gives it more time for Tarantino to dive into the reasons for the Bride to seek for vengeance with fine plot twists at some times. And finally, that old and ridiculously filmed martial art movie parody with Mai Pei is a masterpiece.
