Review of Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004) by Adriano V — 05 Feb 2013
One of the best films of the last decade. Equally outstanding in its own way when compared to volume 1. The first Kill Bill was pretty much a highly stylized Kung-Fu action movie. This one has the action, but plays more like a dialogue and back story heavy western and it's in that fact that I like this one even more.
It's climax is a surprising and satisfying 180 on the audience expectations, and ends not with action, but with a conversation more exciting than any scene before it.
