Review of Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004) by Hardy H — 10 Feb 2015
I watched Kill Bill Volumn 1 and 2 back to back, and I believe this is the better film. perhaps helped a bit by its likely higher budget.
The good about volumne 1 are mostly maintained here: simple tale uniquely told, colourful characters, wicked screen plays.... but its better cause it improved on several other aspects. The Volumne 2 is way better shot, and the use of real location definitely contribute to that effort. Uma seems to be better trained this time at kicking butt.
The ending was shaping to be a unique one as well, but I felt it was drawn out to be too long.
Also, I am not so sure about the stereotypical kungfu master, but whatever.
