Review of Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004) by Francisco G — 14 Mar 2015
Kill Bill volume 1 was an outstanding movie, the best way I could describe it is a spaghetti western with samurai swords and one pissed off bride. Kill Bill volume 2 is a great film that almost lives up to the original.
In a way Kill Bill volume 2 is very different to the first one as it has very little action and is more about the dialogue. However Kill Bill volume 2 is still a great film. It's a very good way to rap up all the loose ends.
Has some amazing scenes, the bride being buried alive is the first one that comes to mind. Uma Thurman is excellent as are the other actors. I think it all wraps up very well. However one problem and its a very common one about this movie is the climax between Bill and the Bride.
Now we do get some excellent dialogue in this film, but after the whole crazy 88 fight scene at the end of the last movie you kind of hope that the fight between Bill and the Bride would be better but it's extremely short.
Flaws aside this is a great movie that I absolutely love. A.
