More serious than the Part 1, which I appreciate. Although, it still has its crazy comical parts, i.e. Pai Mei and his beard flicks, heck, even the way the finale unfolds is hard to take seriously. But I prefer this film as it has more 'realistic' fights, instead of the 1-vs-88 and the like of the first film.
