Kill Bill is a movie that's just sounds like it would be terrible, a bride who survives getting shot in the head dressing up in a yellow jumpsuit hunting down an assassin called Bill. However this is Tarantino we're talking about he takes this weird premise and makes it into one of the best movies of the 21st century.

This is an awesome film. Quentin Tarantino's directing is outstanding, he adds that unique style to the film that only he can do. The acting is fantastic, Uma Thurman's character the Bride is up there with Ripley and Sarah Connor as badass female protagonists.

The rest of the actors are brilliant but Thurman is the stand out. The action is great, the crazy 88 fight is brilliant it's over the top gory fun and it's without a doubt the highlight of the film.

The opening action scene is also great. The soundtrack is phenomenal, that scene with The Bride on the bike and Oren Ishi and her army walking in slow motion is outstanding because of the great soundtrack.

The stare down music is also great. I'm not going to lie and say I've seen all of Tarantino's films but of the three I have seen he's easily one of my favourite directors and Kill Bill volume 1 is my favourite of the ones I have seen.

See it if you haven't, this film is outstanding and easily in my top 20 favourite movies of all time. A+.
