God damnit. I've decided Takeshi "Beat" Kitano just isn't fair. As far as i've seen, the dude doesn't make bad movies. He's a master of all that is japanese and/or cool. Kikujiro was INCREDIBLE.
Starkly contrasting his more violent and dark films, this one was joyous, uplifting, incredibly crazy and whimsical, yet STILL carried with it that characteristically "Takeshi" comedic style and badassery.
I love the eye twitch. I cant get enough of this film.
