Review of Kikujiro (1999) by Frédéric O — 10 Sep 2009
I guess that a lot of people got disappointed in this movie because it was out of left field. I think this is one of his better dramas and a great coming of age tale. Not only for the Kikujiro but also for Beat's character.
This is also in my view the movie where Joe Hisaishi became one of the greatest movie composers in the world.
