Review of Kidulthood (2006) by Juneen A — 19 Mar 2009
Some of the acting in this film is truely awful and some was amazing (could they not find a white girl who can act?). It's a savage look on a twisted inflated reality but is really worth watching for the visuals.
It's pretty disturbing especially as I reckon a few kids will see this as a template for life. Yes, there are some kids who have it rough but this far overstretches the imagination.
