Review of Kidulthood (2006) by Tori C — 18 Dec 2009
London's version of "kids" walks a thin line around the cliches of 'yoof', but its visual style displays some flair. The story is patchy, at times glorifying its characters and their selfish, violent lives, but there's an energy to it which keeps things ticking over.
Hardly one to watch for entertainment, its a shame that the people they're depicting will probably consider this film to be a classic.
