If you've ever seen Gummo or Bully, then you've seen this movie. Disgusting characters doing disgusting things all in the guise of shocking us by holding up a mirror. I'm still not convinced that Larry Clarke knows what he's trying to say about society.
I suggest skipping Larry Clark and going with Alan Clarke's Scum and Made in Britain. Two amazing films troubled youths.
