When I first laid my eyes on this movie at my local video store it shocked me and had set an image set in my mind for this film. Now a couple years later I finally saw it. The first thing I thougt when I started watching the it was on how the quality sucks but thanks to budget limit, the film has a documentary feel, gives some atmosphere, and sets off a mood.
The dialouge in this movie is really good and the characters actually sound like real people. It all is very explicit but realistic. Lots of people talk about how all this movie does is exploit the characters.
One thing I'm sure they didn't know is how accurate this movie is to modern america and teenage life in it. Lots of modern teenagers get drunk and high, have sex, talk dirty, and break alot of laws.
Hopefully some of these people will get the message of the movie since I think getting the message out on a movie isn't in any way be clean. P.S I know I'm not very good at writing but I'm pretty young.
