Review of Kids (2011) by George I — 13 Feb 2011
It's impossible not to have a reaction to this film. It takes already highly loaded topics such as drug use, violence, sex and sexually transmitted diseases, HIV/AIDS in particular and show mere children being affected by them.
The main characters are no older than seventeen, who are caught up in all of this. The most disturbing of this entire film is how well acted it is. Children no older than twelve years old are on screen heavily drinking and smoking pot and there reactions seem nothing but genuine.
