Being a teenage guy growing up in a big city with some same situations as seen in this film, I can honestly say this is the most accuarate depiction of teenagers ever made on film thus far. It saddens me.

Many of the situations in the film I have gone through,know friends have gone through and have heard of other kids going through. Although I can see how people can tag this film as "child porn" or "obscene" one thing they can not say this movie is,is "fake".

Teenagers are really doing this! like it or not this movie is factual! its a glimpse into modern teens even though this movie was made more then a decade ago, it may even be worse now. Kids starts strong and continues until a unfit ending that you feel isnt worthy of what you have seen, this movie does not pull off the quick end as it may feel, a bit more of dialogue and what happen to so and so wouldve perfected this film.

The acting of such young actors is pretty amazing its surreal. This film inrtroduces the world to Rosario Dawson and Golden globe winning icon Chloe Sevigny.
