While I did not find this disturbing as most viewers do, I also didn't really see the point of the movie. It seems really dated - I might have been more disturbed if I'd watched it when it came out nearly 20 years ago, but viewing it now it lacks impact; other movies have done the topic better since, and actually had a plot to go along with it.

The characters, almost all of them, are despicable. The best part was seeing such a young Sevigny and Dawson.
