This gotta be one of the worse from Will Ferrell. He needs a good comedy hit real soon. Will has a competetive dad Robert Duvall. Since young he tries to be athletic but fails. He is going to marry his high school sweetheart Kate Walsh and Robert is also marrying a hot young wife Musetta Vander.

Both their sons are born on the same day too. Will's son Dylan McLaughlin is in the soccer team for Robert but he is always on the bench. His son Josh Hutcherson gets to play instead. And the worse of all is Dylan is traded to the worse team of the league.

During the first game, the team's coach MIA and Will took over. They were trash big time by Robert's team. Will decided to be the coach and hire the neighbour Mike Dikta as the assistant coach.

He is also the nemesis of Robert. Mike begin to whip the kids into shape and then introduce 2 italian kids working in a meat house to Will. They were magnificent. They win the first time with the 2 of them scoring lots of goals.

Side story having Will been addicted to coffee by Mike. Will and Robert make a bet and if Will lose, he has to quit his vitamin shop and works for him, if Robert lose he has to give the Pele ball to Will.

On one of the match the 2 italians need to work overtime and the whole team goes to help cut the meat. They reach the match all bloody and the other team forfeit. Will get addicted to coffee so much he goes wacko without it and become obssessed in winning matches.

Mike walks out before the match after a quarrel with Will. Dylan wants to play but was shut out by Will. They went into the finals but Dylan didn't play and Kate coax him back. The 2 italians were heavily mark by Robert's tactics.

Will realise he is wacko and in the wrong and change tactics in play. In the end Dylan score the winning goal final score 4-3. Will return the Pele ball to Robert and said its not important as closing the bond.

Both of them combine to shoot a sports and vitamins advertisement.
