Review of Kick-Ass (2010) by Dominic Martin A — 30 Oct 2013
Extremely violent and explicit, Kick-Ass delivers where it counts. Starring naive idealistic Dave Lizewksi, the movie is well directed, decently acted but a little bit off pace. The best part about the movie is its premise, as the idea of being a real life superhero is foolish, childish, but also genius, as referenced in the movie (this is probably credits to the source material).
The script is insightful, quirky, and straight to the point, and I love that about the movie. The biggest gripe that I have is its ending, as it seemed hastily made and poorly edited.
