Under the sure-handed direction of Matthew Vaughn while possessing vibrant characters and a unique visual style, Kick-Ass is that comic book movie that not only has lots of bloody violence, profanity, and action, but also the substance, wit, and heart to compel to viewers who aren't big superhero movie goers.
