Review of Kick-Ass (2010) by Don S — 06 Mar 2015
The story of a outcast teenager who becomes a real-life super-hero with the unlikely name of Kick-Ass. He is not good at it, and gets beat to within an inch of his life his first time out. He meets up with other heroes who have the gadgets and the money he is missing.
He also befriends another hero who is not what he seems to be. The story unfolds logically and a good pace. The heroes are more along the lines of vigilantes like Batman than ultra-do-gooders like Superman.
Offbeat and pretty original. I really enjoyed it.
