Review of Kick-Ass (2010) by Isadore H — 19 Dec 2015
It sort of does what Cabin in the Woods did to horror movies, it's a superhero parody film that doesn't take itself seriously and is lifted by its grim humor and Nick Cage playing someone so insane he likable.
Hit-Girl might be the best thing about this movie though, an eleven year old girl who kicks more ass than anyone else on screen. Mark Strong is a good villain for this movie and his death might be the most over the top and hilarious on screen.
Don't miss this one.
