Review of Key Largo (1948) by Simon E — 10 Oct 2007
Tense movie, what I love about it is that it comes from the actors. It's the characters, and mostly Robinson's Rocco who provides all the menace and fear. Unlike most movies that rely on shadows and music to create the mood, this movie just lets these superb actors do the heavy lifting and they succeed so well.
