One of the most beautiful films ever made. and one of the few were social politics and a good storyline work together as one. it's sweet, it's sad, it's engaging and it has really funny moments (the scenes in the library and on the football pitch are just masterpieces). and kes is one of the most beautiful creatures i've ever seen.
On the downside, I would say you are left longing for an epilogue. what happens after the finale, does he just go back home and keep on living with and sharing room and bad with his brother?
Also, some of the music is really annoying.
But, on the whole, an amazing movie.
