I watched Kes as part of my challenge to watch all The Guardian's Top 50 Film Adaptations (I intend to read the book one day soon too). I was having a particularly crap day that day and listening to proper Yorkshire accents made me feel all the more miserable.
It's a great film with some proper acting. I agree with the comment below that it is more like a documentary than I film.
I hate Judd with a passion unknown (even in biblical times). Poor Casper!
