Review of Kelly's Heroes (1970) by Aaron B — 06 Nov 2007
An offbeat WWII flick that feels awkwardly flippant at times but contains some solid scenes and surprising technical accuracy. The final assault on the village is fantastic. Clint Eastwood is [as usual] the coolest guy ever.
Telly Savalas' constant shouting gets a bit tiring but Donald Sutherland as the hippy tank commander[wtf] steals the show.
