Review of Kelly's Heroes (1970) by Steve M — 28 Dec 2008
My father-in-law suggested--no, insisted--that we watch this movie because I had to see the young Donald Sutherland. I wasn't disapointed! This was a fun movie. The immortal Don Rickles and cold-faced Clint are perfect in this plot to steal German gold behind enemy lines.
While I was watching, I actually couldn't help but make comparisons to David O. Russell's movie Three Kings with Clooney and Ice Cube (Desert Storm vs. Germany as a setting).
