Review of Kelly's Heroes (1970) by Yves S — 31 Jan 2010
I don't usually like war movies, but this one is well worth the ride. An excellent cast plays an array of quirky characters who stage a bank robbery at the tail end of WWII. The film's premise is priceless: the liberation of France by the American army was spearheaded by a bunch of gung-ho yahoos trying to get rich quick.
Very funny, especially Donald Sutherland.
