Review of Keeping Up with the Steins (2006) by Gavin S — 13 Jan 2009
Not a bad movie really, just not a funny one either. Garry Marshall was good as grandpa, but really underutilised Jeremy Piven...why? he's gold, just give him something to work with. Try Ari Gold with no balls, and you have his character here.
I guess an ideal movie if you're a young Jewish kid waiting for his Bar-Mitzvah and you have an odd family. I wanted to like it more.
