Ben Stiller plays the Jewish Rabbi who CAN have the girl, Edward Norton Jr. was clever and adorable in the role of the horny catholic priest (or 'in love' rather), so the chances of him getting the girl...unlikely. Jenna Elfman (quirky and cute as ever) plays the childhood best friend of the two unlikely best friends and when she come's to visit them, feelings are stirred up and both the guys fall for her while she only falls for one....I wasn't overly impressed, as this genre (the quintessential "chick" flick) is not one I particularly go out of my way for but end up somehow seeing anyway. Well I am glad I checked this one out, because the story was sweet, cute, and cleverly comedic.

I myself am a HUGE Edward Norton Jr. fan, I have always been amazed by his performances, especially in his role in "American History X", This is a FAR cry from that performance but he opens himself up to a whole new genre and with seamless transition. I was very surprised when I realized this was Ed Nortons directorial debut...not what I would have expected from him, but it was clever which is a very accurate portrayal of Ed. It left you with feelings that romantic comedies are rarely able to conjure from within me so he certainly did a good job. Worth checking out in my opinion.
