Review of Keanu (2016) by Aaron D — 01 May 2016

Keanu is a film by comedy central stars Key and Peele. I never watched their show but the trailer for Keanu looked pretty good so I decided to give it a try. I was surprised by how funny the movie actually is.

The two stars have great chemistry and do a great job at poking fun of racial stereotypes without being to controversial. While I did laugh a lot not all of the jokes work and the story is pretty by the numbers.

At the end when they try to tie everything up a lot of stuff starts to not make sense but still I laughed a ton and this feels like the perfect movie to watch with a bunch of friends. Oh and the kitten is freakin adorable.
