Review of Keanu (2016) by Steve W — 02 May 2016

Keanu is a very enjoyable comedy, from the minds behind Key and Peele. After the conclusion of their sketch show, they have done a simple movie about two normal nerds who have to impersonate violent gangsters in order to rescue a kitten.

The premise is not very strong and you can feel the plot almost crumbling at the lack of narrative heft, but it has plenty of decent laughs and it showcases the two main leads talent to the maximum. Its worth seeing if you like Key or Peele, or just in the mood for an easy going comedy.
