Review of Keanu (2016) by Sujit O — 19 Jul 2016

Much like the style of what I feel make up the classics comedies of our age, such as Pineapple express and similar works; 'Keanu' is a great film which attempts at so many different types of humour from slapstick to thought provoking stuff and not to mention the whole setting in a parody. Key and Peele do what they have mastered over the years in a much larger and dramatic context. The beauty of their comedy lies in the natural reaction to unnatural circumstances and even as the film blows out of all proportion there's still something extremely believable about every characters actions and reactions.

Its almost like a portfolio showing what they have learned over the years of Key and Peele.

And also.. that cat and so fucking adorable.
