Review of Kaw (2007) by Stacey J — 19 Oct 2007
The fact that Sheldon Wilson takes this movie so seriously is embarrassing... You really do feel awkward for anybody involved with this film. And Rod Taylor - what were you thinking? You were the leading man in the Hitchcock original: why would you taint your career by capping it with a role in this sorry excuse of a film? I also find it amusing that "Hitch" was able to make his birds far more frightening in 1963 without the aid of any computer technology or animation.
.. The CIG in this film is so poor it has you asking yourself if this is a comedy or a horror film. And to think they were banking on making a political statement on the global issues revolving around mad cow disease (as so eloquently put by the producer in the special features).
.. Some horror films are so bad they're funny - that's what makes them watchable - and from time to time enjoyable. Don't even waste your time on this one folks.
