So many good things about that movie: the structure, the subject, the energy, the ideas, and above all jennifer jason leigh & miranda richardson, both just superb the first with her incredibly extreme composition and the other with her child like gaze.

yet although I kindda liked it, I couldn't manage to love it. it lacks something that projects like short cuts nashville or gosford park had. not really sure what it is, or who to blame for it, but it did lack very strongly for me.
