Review of Kamikaze Girls (2004) by David R — 21 Aug 2008
This a cute story about the friendship between two girls. It's based off the the book by Novala Takemoto but it takes it's cues from the manga culture with it's visualizations and funny, over the top characters.
The soundtrack by Yoko Kanno works superbly with the movie too. It is also a good introduction to the lolita fashion/culture for popular America.
