Review of Kalifornia (1993) by Nathan C — 02 Jul 2010
A great movie, with Brad Pitt delivering an outstanding (sidesplitting/scary) performance, the rest of the main cast having formidable performances, some thrills, and a winding (albeit predictable) plot that takes a freaky/disturbing turn.
However, it felt kinda laggy around the climax, and some ideas don't really add up, and a few character relationships fall flat. A 90's thriller that doesn't deal with conspiracy or the government, which is a plus.
