Review of Kagemusha (1980) by Kevin S — 19 Jul 2008
In 1572, there was a civil war in Japan. The legendary warlord Shingen Takeda was assassinated. To deceive his enemies, Kagemusha (Shadow Warrior) was used by the Takeda clan. Along the years, Kagemusha gradually incorporated as the dead warlord.
The directing is good with a nice story, great performance of actors and unforgtable visual and audio effects. This is one of the masterpiece by Akira Kurosawa.
