Review of Kafka (1991) by Blake P — 12 Aug 2008
Soderbergh found the essence of Kafka, mostly thank's to Jeremy Irons. Still I was left a bit cold, and that's the thing an exellent movie doesn't do.
Maybe I would have enjoyed this movie more if I had read The Trial or more than one Kafka's novels what so ever.
This is a movie that you shouldn't watch if you haven't read any Kafka or know anything about him.
