We are used to see romantic comedies or nonsense slapstick comedies.. even sometimes we get to watch fims loaded with black humor... but every once in a while comes a film so different that in this case it could be called "humanistic comedy".

Kabluey is a film about an incompetent guy who looses his job and ends up living with her sister-in-law (while her husband is in Irak) and her two incrediblly spoiled kids. as he turns not to have any money, she gets him a gob in a dying networking company as a mascot, wearing a huge blue suit with a gigantic head and no hands...

Sometimes it seems that the whole script was based upon the minimalistic image of this blue creature standing on the middle of a desertic road.. but you know what? it works great for the most part, it's comes up to be the ultimate incarnation of alineation and self-instrospection as Salman (played by Prendergast) manages to find a purpose as he discovers an triangle affair wich involves her sister-in-law (Kudrow) and her boss, in a very cute yet surreal super hero-esque fashion.

The best moments of te film involves Kabluey (the mascot) yet it be on the middle of the road or walking around palces... it gives the film a ver artistic feeling wich is supported by the great use of music and silences...

In a few words its an indie minimalistic film cleverly written with some tender and humanistic feel attached into it..

Tottaly reccomend it if you are in the mood of something different...
