Kabhi Alvidaa Na Kehna is an extremely controversial film over which there has been much heated debate. For some reason, the majority of the audience failed to appreciate this film. I think this is because the film is really ahead of its time (remember Lamhe and the old Karz) and the Indian/Paki audience wasn't ready to accept a film that focuses on extra-marital affairs.

The film in my opinion, regardless of the length, was brilliant...it was well directed, had beautiful locations and costumes, a fantastic story filled with plenty of emotion, comedy and drama...the performances were all fantastic, especially Abhishek who managed to finally give a decent performance! Overall, I would say this film is awesome, one of the best drama films made in bollywood.

.KJO handles a mature and controversial subject with ease and delivers his finest work to date!
